I
have not filed all my Income Tax Returns with the IRS, how can I protect
my paycheck, bank accounts, and other property from the IRS taking
them? Chapter 13 stops all action by the IRS. It freezes the amount
you owe the IRS and they must stop adding those ungodly penalties
and interest to your balance. Some of your older taxes are dischargable
(gone). You can then file any missing returns and catch up on your
more recent taxes over a 5 year period with no penalties or interest.

I used my credit card to
pay my taxes, can I still get rid of tax debt?
Yes, if you file for a Chapter 13 only. Debts incurred on your credit
cards to pay taxes to the IRS will NOT be discharged in Chapter 7. Back
